My daughter is loving her first year at school. Very emotional first week of starting but the teachers scooped her up and told me at home time she had smiles within 10 mins of seeing whats on offer. Highly recommend this school all 4 daughters have been there or are there now x

Rydal Academy - Closure Notification

Dear Parent / Carer,

Unfortunately, we have returned to school today to find a fault with our boiler system which has become more significant during the course of the day.

The school will be closed to ALL pupils (Nursery to Year 6) tomorrow, Tuesday 6th January and until further notice. We are hoping to remedy the situation as quickly as possible but are currently being advised that this will take a minimum of three days once works begin. I will update once we have further information and a confirmed return date.

Class teachers will message tomorrow (Tuesday 6th January) morning via the RMP App and email with leaning grids for the week, as well as setting work on the school Apps. such as TT Rockstarts, LearningEggs and Mathletics.

Apologies for the significant inconvenience we know this will cause.

Yours in public service,
John Armitage
