The Rydal Academy is a large and vibrant primary school for pupils aged 2 to 11. The school provides nursery education for children from the term after their second, where entitled, or third birthday and is structured with up to three classes per year group for Reception through to Year 6.

We are seeking to appoint a Year Manager within the Pastoral and Support Team at Longfield Academy. We are looking for a creative, adaptable and reflective practitioner with experience of multi-agency working. The successful candidate will put all pupils at the forefront of every decision they make through being supportive to the individual but ‘holding the line’ to avoid impact of poor choices on the whole school. We require the candidate to understand how the academic and pastoral elements of education connect.

Community Grocery Darlington is here to bridge the gap between foodbanks and supermarkets by helping local residents with their weekly food shops. If you are feeling the financial impact of the rising cost of living and can access our Community Grocery in person, then we are here to help.

For an annual membership of £5 you can select the size of shop you do in store:
• Standard shop (12 items) ……… £5.00
• Medium shop (18 items) ……….. £7.50
• Large shop (24 items) ………….. £10.00
• Extra large shop (30 items) ….. £12.50

You can choose from a wide variety of items across fruit & veg, shelf, chilled, frozen and bakery.
