WELCOME TO

The Rydal Academy

The Rydal Academy is a large and vibrant primary school for pupils aged 2 to 11. The school provides nursery education for children from the term after their second birthday and is structured with up to three classes per year group for Reception through to Year 6. We pride ourselves on being highly inclusive in our approaches in response to the needs of our diverse and ever-changing community.

Our Rydal Values and a strong school ethos, with our children and community at the centre of every decision we make, allows our pupils to flourish and build strong foundations for their future, whatever that may hold. We aim to make everything we do equitable and accessible for our families by removing barriers such as cost, access, or opportunity.

I hope you will take the time to find out more by exploring our website and social media pages or contacting the school to arrange a visit. We look forward to welcoming you to our community as a parent/carer, pupil or colleague and making some amazing memories together in a school where everyone is welcome.

🏅 Rydal Sports Days 🏅

This week, we have had a fantastic time celebrating Sports Days with all of our children! 🌟

From running races and taking part in team challenges to cheering on friends and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, it has been wonderful to see so many smiles and our TRA Values on full display throughout the events. 😊👏

We are incredibly proud of all our pupils who took part, showed determination, and gave their very best effort. A huge thank you to our wonderful Rydal community for your continued support and encouragement at these events.💙✨
