We encourage children to walk, cycle or scooter to school. Bikes and scooters are stored in the racks next to the middle playground during the school day and should be locked up where possible.
We encourage all our children to wear cycle helmets. Vehicles should not be ridden once inside the school grounds. The school accepts no responsibility for damage or theft.
Children are encouraged to drink water throughout the day through access to fresh water dispensers. The school provides water bottles for all pupils annually.
Pupils are permitted to bring fruit to school as a snack for consumption during playtimes. No nuts or snack bars are permitted.
The Rydal Academy is a no smoking or vaping site including all grounds and playing fields.
