Well done to Theo (class 4D) for being nominated for the Exceptional Young Volunteer in the Stronger Communities Award for all of the volunteer work he does at the Eastbourne Hub. These awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals in Darlington. 🎉

Demonstrating our Rydal values of kindness, fairness, teamwork, aspiration, resilience, honesty, empathy and perseverance.
We are all behind you tonight Theo! 🤞

There is a Headteachers Award waiting for you on my desk. 🏅

Last term it was great to hear the pupils singing during their music lessons as we walked in the corridors. Mrs Salt managed to record 6E and 6Y while we wore something yellow for World Mental Health Day.

I hope you agree they sound amazing.
